Event Schedule

Check-In

Check-in at the Library Quad from 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Here you will get your free bag and a ticket to spin our prize wheel! Afterwards you are free to plan your day however you would like and explore our amazing campus.

We encourage you to bring your reusable water bottle to stay hydrated! There are refill stations in the University Union.

Parking Information

Sacramento State is pleased to offer complimentary parking (no permit required) in “S” student spaces and “E” employee spaces on campus. Our campus will be buzzing with multiple events so make sure you bring some comfortable walking shoes to get from your parking spot to the check in table!

For closest proximity to our event we suggest Parking Structure 1, Parking Structure 2, Parking Structure 3, Parking Lot 5, and Parking Lot 6.

Parking Lot 7, Parking Lot 8 (by the Harper Alumni Center), Parking Lot 9, Parking Lot 10, and Parking Structure 5 are open for parking, but may not be as close to the event as the other parking structures.

Please note: No parking in “R” residential spaces. To park in disabled parking spaces on campus, a disabled person placard or license plate must be displayed. In order to park in a clean air or EV space, the Clean Air Vehicle (CAV) decal from California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) must be displayed. See parking regulations for more.

ITE Celebration Station

The station will be located at the Library Quad from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Submit your intent to enroll and receive a personalized I Said Yes to Sac State certificate! Take a solo and/or family photo in front of our Sac State backdrop! Tag us on Instagram (@sacstateadmissions) to be featured on our social media.

The first 200 students to come to the ITE station who submitted their Intent to Enroll and get a photo with their certificate will get a $10 meal ticket to use towards the food trucks, campus eateries, and the Servery!

The Hornet Bookstore

The Hornet Bookstore will be open from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.. The Hornet Bookstore will have 20% off one apparel or gift item*!

The celebration doesn’t have to stop when Admitted Student Day ends! Pre-order a Sacramento State Acceptance Celebration Kit for pick-up when you come for Admitted Student Day to celebrate becoming a hornet. You can use the coupon above to order your kit! Celebration kits are online order only and can be delivered to your home directly.

General Campus Tours

Campus tours available every 30 minutes from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Join us for a 30-minute walking tour of our beautiful campus! Please arrive at the check-in tables next to the Studio Theatre. Registration for a campus tour is required, use the link below to register for a campus tour!

Excellence Tours

  • APIDA Excellence Tour – 11:30 a.m.
  • Black Excellence Tour – 12:30 p.m.
  • Latinx Excellence Tour – 1:30 p.m.

Each Excellence Tour is focused on recognizing the history of different affinity groups on the Sac State campus. These tours highlight resources, student organizations, clubs, landmarks, art, and notable alumni and staff who have made impacts at Sac State and in the world from each affinity group. Please arrive at the check-in tables next to the Studio Theatre. Registration for an Excellence Tour is required, use the link below to register.

Please note: We suggest you still go on a general campus tour as these tours are supplemental to the general information shared on a campus tour. Spaces are extremely limited for Excellence Tours as we are piloting these tours. We will ask guests to fill out a brief survey afterwards.

  • Hornet Commons: Meet at the Hornet Commons leasing office.

Please meet at The WELL. Visit The WELL to see what gym equipment, health classes, health centers, and more are inside the newly renovated building!

Dining Option for Campus

The following food trucks will be available by Eureka Hall from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.:

The Servery at the Dining Commons at the Dining Commons:

The Servery at the Dining Commons is Sac State’s dining facility located in North Village. Brunch will be served from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Light lunch will be served from 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. Dinner will be served from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. They will have 15% for guests who visit on Admitted Student Day. If you receive a $10 meal ticket from the ITE station, the 15% off can be used for your guest but not in addition to your ticket.

Planetarium Shows

Shows are every 30 minutes from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Join us for an amazing 360-degree presentation in our state-of-the-art planetarium!

These 20-minute sessions are located in the Ernest E. Tschannen Science Complex (Science 11). Registration for a planetarium showing is required, use the link below to register!
