First Year Orientation Dates

Dates Information

Get Ready to Schedule Your Orientation! But did you do your Housing application?

If you’re one of the amazing students admitted for Spring 2027, get ready for an exciting start with our New Student Orientation sessions happening in January!

Here’s the scoop: Orientation dates are based on your major, so if you’ve changed your major recently, be sure to select an orientation session that aligns with your new interest. To officially make the change, simply complete the Change Your Major E-Form—easy peasy!

And if life gets in the way—like military service, being out of the country, or work commitments—don’t worry! Just email us at orient.reservations@csus.edu, and we’ll work with you to make sure you get started on the right foot.

We can’t wait to welcome you to Sac State and help launch your journey!
