First Year Orientation Dates

Dates Information

Students admitted for Spring 2025 will participate in New Student Orientation during the Winter of 2025. First-year students graduating from high school will attend orientation sessions in July and August.

Orientation dates are determined by your selected major. If you have changed your major of interest, please register for an orientation session that aligns with your new major. To officially update your major, complete the Change Your Major E-Form.

Important Note: If you are enrolled in EOP, Guardian Scholars, Full Circle Project, Black Honors College, CAMP, Project Rebound, please call New Student Orientation office directly 916-278-7841 to register for orientation

If you are unable to attend the scheduled orientation dates due to circumstances such as military service, being out of the country, or work commitments, please email our office orient.reservations@csus.edu for other options.
