About Parents & Guests
Welcome Hornet Parents!
Congratulations! You must be so proud that your student was admitted to Sac State.
Due to the Covid-19, we will not be able to invite you and your student to attend in-person New Student Orientation. However, we have been busy putting together virtual programming and online resources for you.
Your student is required to complete Hornet Pre-Orientation, which is an online program designed to introduce Sac State academics, services and programs. You can also access the program by creating a guest account. Click Hornet Pre-Orientation in the Resources section of this webpage. Access to the program will begin in November.
We know families play an important role in the success of their students. To help you support your student, we have a Family Handbook in the Resources section. We hope you will find this useful. In January, we will include a printed copy when we send your student their welcome packet.
