Director: Andrea Becker, Ph.D.
Welcome to Sacramento State! We are excited to have you in the Health Science program and look forward to helping you progress through the major, find your passion, and strive toward becoming the best you’re capable of becoming. The Health Science major is designed for students interested in pursuing careers in fields such as Nursing, Sonography, Radiation Therapy, Health Education, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant School, Emergency Response, and more.

Our curriculum offers a variety of courses from across the university to provide students with a multi-disciplinary foundation in the social and physical sciences. Although our course offerings span from over 15 different departments, we pride ourselves on individualizing students’ course of study to match their future career interests.

During your time at Sac State, it is my hope that you take advantage of our great campus resources such as the Career Center, the Well, and the Food Pantry.
