Proctored Assessment Options
A proctored assessment requires the presence of a proctor. The proctor will verify your identity, distribute the assessment password, and monitor the assessment.
In order to take a proctored assessment the following conditions must be satisfied.
- At least 48 hours has passed from the end of the previous assessment.
- At least 3 hours of work has been completed in the Preparation and Learning Module.
Students who are ready to take a proctored ALEKS PPL assessment must use one of the following proctoring options.
Online with ProctorU
For assistance with taking an assessment through ProctorU, please visit the ProctorU Help Center.
Note: ProctorU fees will apply. In order to avoid on demand scheduling fees, however, a proctoring session must be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance.
Off-campus (non-ProctorU) Testing Center
Contact the Math Department at least 2 weeks prior to the date you plan to take a proctored ALKEKS PPL assessment.
- Provide the name of the testing center, the appointment date and time, and the contact information for the testing center.
- Make sure you activate your account and take the un-proctored assessment as outlined on the Registration page.
