Hillary has mapped a decade-long career trajectory since her time at Sac State to find herself the Women’s Buyer for Levi’s North America Outlet stores.

Never burn bridges with classmates or co-workers, always ask questions, keep learning because fashion is forever changing, and do not be afraid to take risks. Learn to work together as a team: you never work alone, and teamwork is the key to successful business.

Now Digital Merchandising Manager at InMobi, Babich built her resume in large department stores and small specialty boutiques. This experience in-store proved imperative when moving to online sales and merchandising, and a better understanding of consumer behavior than her peers. She recommends that students stay open to trying new things, to take risks, and ask for more.

“Growth comes from trying and failing and trying again. Do not be afraid to fail, it is how you learn and get better, and it makes the success so much sweeter.”
