Scholarship Recipients
2022-2023 FASH Scholarship Recipients
Amy Cruz
Amy Cruz is a junior who aspires to become a buyer or visual merchandiser after graduation. The scholarship
benefits her studies by helping her afford course materials. When asked to advise current or incoming students, Amy
shared, "…know that professors and staff are there for you when you are stressed or need help. They are here to help
and can provide resources that you may not have known were there before." Amy has been accepted into an internship
with Kohl's in the Summer of 2024.
Stanley Phan
Stanley Phan is a junior who aspires to become a fashion designer and one day own a clothing brand. The scholarship
has allowed him to purchase a serger and a sewing machine, which has assisted him in completing his garments for the
Student Fashion Association's 2023 fashion show, Forces of Nature. When asked to advise current or incoming students,
Stanley shared, "Make the most of the resources available to you and keep in touch with your peers and advisors. The
faculty is always willing to assist us and promote our talents. They provide great resources and facilitate connections to
help us secure internships, networking, and job opportunities and plan our future career paths." Stanley also runs a
small business, Chronicle Blessings, promoting sustainable fashion and second-hand clothing use.
