Top graduates receive Deans' Award, honored at celebration

Sacramento State honored the top graduates in each of its seven colleges during a celebration on May 5.

Each college selected one undergraduate student to receive the Dean’s Leadership & Excellence Award for outstanding leadership, service, and achievements that enrich the campus community. One Dean’s Award winner is chosen annual to receive the President’s Medal, Sac State’s top student honor.

The Office of the Dean of Students also collaborated with Student Organizations & Leadership and University Housing Services to recognize individuals and groups that made meaningful contributions to student life.

  • Adrian Amandor - Sport Club Officer of the Year, Esports
  • Gabriel Maples - Sport Club Leader of the Year, Men’s Soccer
  • Sarvenaz Sobhan - Faculty/Staff Advisor of the Year, American Society of Mechanical Engineers
  • Raden Kayla Zilvia - Student Leader of the Year, Future Business Leaders of America
  • Caribbean Student Association - Organization of the Year
  • Mariachi Los Avispones - Student Performers
