Health & Safety

Sac State will continue to be a safe place, following science- and policy-based guidelines.

The key to Sac State being safe from COVID-19 is vaccinations. Our campus has a high vaccination rate – nearly 96% of our students, staff, and faculty – and individuals with exemptions are testing regularly. Our campus is a safe place to work and learn, thanks to your efforts.

Beginning in spring 2022, faculty, staff, and students will be required to receive booster shots to be fully immunized against COVID-19 and comply with the CSU Vaccination Policy. The policy calls for eligible people to receive their booster shot by Feb. 28, or six months after receiving the final dose of the initial vaccination, whichever is later.

Everyone must wear a face covering when entering any building on campus or operated by the University.
