Health & Safety

A re-opened Sac State will continue to be a safe place, following science- and policy-based guidelines meant to ensure a healthy Hornet Family.

This begins with having a campus population vaccinated against COVID-19, which will be required by the Fall 2021 semester or upon full approval of one or more vaccines by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, whichever occurs later. Exceptions to this requirement will be based on specific criteria and subject to University approval.

Until final vaccine approval, unvaccinated students, faculty and staff are encouraged to complete the Daily Health Self-Screening.

The key to Sac State being safe from COVID-19 is vaccinations. If you have not received yours yet, please make an appointment so you can be on campus with the rest of the Hornet Family.
