Parent Empower Hour

Parenting and expecting students — and your little ones — are invited to join us for an afternoon of food, community, and fun! Reconnect with campus resources, meet other student parents, and build your village. Families, partners, and children are warmly welcome to attend and show support.

End-of-the-Year Student Parent Dinner

Join us for a family-friendly dinner celebrating the strength and accomplishments of our student parents. This special evening honors your hard work and resilience while creating space for connection and community. Children and loved ones are welcome to attend and celebrate together.

Student Parent Graduation Celebration

Honoring Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 Graduates

We are proud to celebrate student parents who have balanced academics and parenting on their journey to graduation. Bring your children, family members, and loved ones to share in this meaningful milestone.

Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. RSVP is required.

Summer 2026

Student Mom Meet-Up

A welcoming space for student mothers and their children to connect, build friendships, and learn about campus resources. Come as you are, little ones are welcome! Light refreshments will be provided.

Student Dad Meet-Up

An intentional space for student fathers to build community, connect with peers, and strengthen support networks. Children are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be provided.

Student Parent Summer Institute

Date: TBD

Prepare for the upcoming academic year with structured support focused on planning, resource navigation, and community-building. Parenting and pregnant students — along with their families — are encouraged to participate. Food and materials will be provided.

Fall Welcome for Student Parents

Start the semester with community! This family-friendly welcome event introduces new and returning student parents to campus resources and the Parents & Families Program. Bring your children and loved ones to connect, build belonging, and learn about available support services.

All Sacramento State parenting students and their families are invited to enjoy complimentary holiday family photos — children, partners, and loved ones are welcome.
