ASI Discovery Pathways Director Statement
Stepping into your college journey with curiosity, openness, and the courage to explore is key to success in the Discovery Pathways program. In a world that often favors quick-to-action perspectives, the discovery pathways program was created to support those who want to understand why they want what they want. It’s about giving yourself the space to discover what inspires you and try new academic directions, knowing that your path is valid and acknowledged at Sacramento State. Embracing growth as you learn more about your strengths and goals is the most important aspect of self-discovery. Discovery Pathways students are supported, connected, and empowered as a part of a community that encourages questions, celebrates progress, and believes that finding your path is an important and meaningful part of the college experience.
