About General Education Program
Welcome
The Sacramento State General Education Program lays the foundation for the University’s Baccalaureate Learning Goals: Knowledge of Human Cultures and the Physical and Natural World, Intellectual and Practical Skills, Personal and Social Responsibility, and Integrative Learning.
Students are encouraged to select courses and subject areas that are new and challenging to their world views and offer new experiences, such as inquiry-based or community-based learning.
