Apply to the Honors Program
Applications for Cohort 19, beginning in Fall 2024, opened on October 1, 2023. Priority consideration was given to applications received no later than December 31, 2023. Secondary consideration was given to those applications received by March 1, 2024.
First-time applicants: We continue to welcome applications; however, we can only place you on a waitlist at this time.
Transfer applicants: Applications for admission are still being accepted.
What Makes a Strong Honors Candidate?
Students often ask how they might stand out as a strong candidate for the program. Our program is not just for students who have taken multiple AP or Honors courses and/or have a high GPA. We look for students who are curious, creative, and persevering. We want to know what makes applicants and our students unique!
A few qualities that help applicants stand out:
- Desire to improve and grow
- Passionate about something important to them (activism, sport, volunteering, crafting, painting, music, etc.)
- Interest in being active in the Honors community
- Ability to recognize mistakes and think about ways to better address them in the future
