Admitted Students Day
Date: April 18, 2026
Join GE Honors for Admitted Student's Day! Admitted Student Day is Sacramento State’s official event to bring all of our future Hornets together to see their new home! This event admitted students the opportunity to see everything we have to offer.
If you said Yes to Sac State, congratulations and welcome to the Hornet family! When you attend Admitted Student Day, you will receive critical information about the next steps, connect with your college, and begin your journey to becoming a Hornet!
Still undecided? At Admitted Student Day, you will be able to speak with our staff, explore the campus and experience the Hornet life. Join us and discover why YOU should become a part of the Hornet Family. Submit your Intent to Enroll (ITE) by the May 1st deadline and Say YES to Sac State!
Summer Social Series - Admitted Students Only

Join us over the summer to get to know students in the GE Honors Program and learn more about Sacramento State. These socials are optional and will be held virtually. Check your personal emails for more information.
GE Honors Orientation - Accepted Students Only
Date: Summer TBD
All first-year students who have been admitted to the GE Honors Program for Fall of 2026 will attend the Honors Program Orientation Summer 2026 date TBD. Please note that all students, regardless of their major, will attend orientation with the Honors Program. To sign up for the Honors Program orientation, directly contact the Orientation Office at (916) 278-7841 or orient2@csus.edu. Please note that you will not be able to register directly through your student center. Orientation is REQUIRED to attend Sacramento State.
Honors Welcome - Accepted Students Only
Date: August 28, 2026
Each semester, we hold an Honors Welcome Event the Friday before classes start. Students will get to meet others in their cohort and learn about the GE Honors program.This event is separate from the University Orientation and is highly recommended for all incoming Honors Students. Event details will be sent to admitted students. Please check your email to RSVP.
