WEAP License Info - September 22, 2025

Any students who require a WEAP code, should acquire one though www.weap21.org/licensing.

MATLAB Access Change - August 29, 2025

Accessing the MATLAB software on ECS lab and AVD systems has changed. Please review our canvas page for more information: MATLAB Access Canvas Page.

AVD ECS-GPU Access - August 15, 2025

In preparation for the start of the 2025-2026 academic year, we will be clearing AVD ECS-GPU student access next week. If you still need access to this ECS remote lab resource, then please submit a new request.

SolidWorks Student Access - July 17, 2025

SolidWorks student access is activated. For details, see SolidWorks Academic Version (ECS students only) in the ECS Resources Center Canvas course.

ADS License Activated - July 16, 2025

ADS license activated for this academic year. Tested and operational in both ECS labs and in ECS Azure Virtual Desktops.

License expires July 10, 2026.

Synopsis Updated - July 9, 2025

The current ECS Synopsys software license manager is installed and operational on Flex1. Current license is good through June 10, 2027.

The latest release of usual ECS Synopsys software products have been tested and installed on the Coding servers.
