University Union Pop-Up Shop, Sacramento State
Buy what you love, love what you find! Support Sac State student business owners at the Pop-Up Shop, featuring new vendors and products each week. October 12-16, shop clothing, accessories and more to get ready for the big Homecoming game. Located in the University Union and open to the public.

Homecoming Food Drive
October 12-17
The Sacramento State Alumni Association and ASI are partnering up to help students in need of food and other supplies. All donations benefit the ASI Food Pantry. Monetary donations welcome in addition to select food products. Drop-off times will be Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at the Harper Alumni Center, or at the Homecoming Festival on Saturday, October 17 from 3 - 6 p.m.

Celebrate Homecoming with a Peak Adventures trip to Dell’osso Farms! Pick out a pumpkin, check out the haunted castle, defeat the corn maze, play on slide hill, make some furry friends at the Animal Zoo, check out the obstacle course, and so much more. No tricks, only treats on this trip. We will be meeting at Peak Adventures and shuttling out in our brand-new Vans!

Infinity Song - Live in Concert

Aquatic Center Student Free Rental Day

Get in the Homecoming spirit with free rental day at the Aquatic Center! All current Sacramento State students are invited to enjoy free rentals for kayaks, stand up paddle boards and canoes. You must have a physical photo ID and one set of keys for the deposit. No reservation needed. Last rental at 5:15 p.m.

Celebrate Family Weekend during Sacramento State's Homecoming festivities! Families are invited to experience campus traditions, connect with the Hornet community, and enjoy a weekend filled with special events, activities, and Homecoming celebrations.
Hosted by the Parents & Families Program, University Housing Services, and Campus Life.
Double Feature Movie Night

Kick off Hornet Family Weekend by welcoming families to campus for a special movie night experience. Families, siblings, and supporters are invited to spend the evening with their student in approved residence halls enjoying a campus movie night, creating a fun and memorable start to the weekend.

Family Tailgate Experience

Bring the whole family together for a fun-filled pregame celebration! This family-friendly tailgate welcomes parents, siblings, children, students, alumni, and supporters for an afternoon of food, music, games, and interactive activities before kickoff. Following the tailgate experience we encourage you to attend the homecoming game. Discounted tickets for families are available, at the Hornet Tickets store!

Family Farewell R&B Brunch
Sunday, October 18 | 9:30 a.m.
The Servery, North Village, Sacramento State
Join us for a warm and celebratory farewell brunch as we wrap up Hornet Family Weekend together. Enjoy a delicious meal hosted by the Parents & Families Program and Campus Life while reflecting on the weekend's memories and connecting with other Hornet families. Learn about the many ways to stay engaged and support your student's success throughout the year, then test your knowledge with a fun family trivia game for a chance to win exclusive Sac State swag. Leave feeling informed, connected, and excited for the year ahead.
Golf Cart Parade | Bring the Green!
This year, we are inviting groups to turn golf carts into mini-floats that celebrate Sac State spirit, creativity, community, and plenty of green.
Deadline to enter: Checklist & Registration must be submitted by Friday, October 2 @ 11:59 p.m.
What is the Golf Cart Parade?
A spirited Homecoming tradition that brings student organizations, residence halls, departments, programs, ERGs, alumni groups, and campus partners together for a festive roll through campus before the Homecoming festivities.
Make it a mini-float!
- Decorate your cart around the Bring the Green theme.
- Show off your group, department, community, or Hornet pride.
- Walkers are encouraged! Add costumes, signs, chants, props, or other school-spirit elements. Walkers are optional.
How to sign up:
- Complete the Golf Cart Parade registration form
- Name your designated golf cart driver on the entry form.
- Have the driver complete Golf Cart Safety Training and the New Driver Packet. Training is required every four years. Start Golf Cart Safety Training.
- Students without access to CSU Learn may complete Golf Cart Safety Training v2016 in Canvas and must print the results to attach to their paperwork.
- Complete the New Driver Packet through Adobe Acrobat Sign. Drivers will sign in to Adobe Acrobat Sign and MySacState, enter their Employee/Student ID, and list their supervisor’s email as the approver (not Risk Management). Open the New Driver Packet.
- Wait for Risk Management clearance. Your group is not confirmed to drive until the designated driver is approved.
