About University Arboretum
A Living Collection
The University Arboretum is a 3.5-acre botanical garden at Sacramento State featuring more than 1,400 plants representing hundreds of species from California and around the world. Since 1959, the Arboretum has served as an outdoor classroom, a living collection for education and conservation, a refuge for urban wildlife, and a welcoming green space for the campus and surrounding community.
