Academic & Community Resources

Faculty & Staff

Do you use the Arboretum for teaching, research, outreach, or other university programs? We'd love to hear about it!

If you plan to bring a class or organized group to the Arboretum, or if your students will be conducting projects in the Arboretum, we encourage you to complete the Class Visit Notification Form.

While advance notice is not required, it helps us schedule maintenance activities, such as leaf blowing, tree pruning, or trail repairs, around your visit and better understand how the Arboretum is being used across campus.

Planning a research project in the Arboretum? Please contact the Director before beginning your project so we can coordinate with ongoing maintenance, teaching activities, and other research.

Community Members and External Organizations

The University Arboretum is available for approved public events hosted by community organizations. To reserve the Arboretum for an event, please submit your request through Space Management.
