Wireless Access

Get Connected

While on campus, connect your devices to our official wireless network, eduroam. To keep campus securely connected, we support over 1,600+ Wi-Fi access points, offer guest and event access, continue to upgrade buildings and structures to Wi-Fi 6 speed, as well as expanding Wi-Fi coverage to meet the growing needs of our campus community.

Eduroam

Connect to eduroam while on campus from an Android, Chromebook, iOS, MacOS, or Windows!

Device-Specific Connection Instructions

Traveling? You can also securely use your eduroam account for wireless access at any participating eduroam institution! Use your same SacLink login credentials.

What is Wi-Fi 6?

More connections, better streaming, no buffering — that’s the experience with Wi-Fi 6. Make sure your devices can connect, and check out which campus buildings are Wi-Fi 6 optimized!

Guest & Event Access

SacLink

Our campus guest network. Connect through the Sac State Guest login.

  • Can also be used for legacy devices that can't connect to eduroam (such as gaming consoles, TV's, Alexa, etc.).

SacEvent

Visitors on campus for special events can connect through SacEvent and use the Wi-Fi password that should be provided by your event coordinator.
