    Sacramento State’s Faculty Senate will honor 21 faculty members for their commitment to teaching, scholarly and creative activity, and service to the University and the Sacramento community during an awards ceremony and reception at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, in the Pacific Suite of the University Union.

    Along with their contributions as educators and leaders, the honorees – chosen for recognition by their faculty peers – are committed to student success and engaging collegiality on campus.

    Here are the 21 award recipients for 2019-2020:

    OUTSTANDING TEACHING

    Rachel Miller, Art, College of Arts and Letters.

    Jessica Martinez, Undergraduate Studies in Education, College of Education.

    Nassrine Noureddine, Nursing, College of Health and Human Services.

    Timothy Davidson, Biological Sciences, College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

    OUTSTANDING UNIVERSITY SERVICE

    John Forrest, Design, College of Arts and Letters.

    Jean Gonsier-Gerdin, Teaching Credentials, College of Education.

    Katherine McReynolds, Chemistry, College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

    Brian DiSarro, Political Science, College of Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies.

    OUTSTANDING SCHOLARLY AND CREATIVITY

    Andrew Stoner, Communication Studies, College of Arts and Letters.

    Jesse Catlin, Marketing and Supply Chain Management, College of Business Administration.

    Meagan O’Malley, Graduate and Professional Studies in Education, College of Education.
