About Finish in Four and Through in Two
Finish in Four and Through in Two is a CSU-wide program, formerly known as the California Promise Program, created to help students graduate on time—within four years for first-time freshmen or two years for transfer students with an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT). Supported by Assembly Bill 1205, the program provides tools like priority registration and academic advising to keep students on track. It’s open to California residents who commit to completing at least 30 units per year and must be joined during a student’s first semester at Sacramento State. The program especially supports low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students, and guarantees a spot for eligible ADT transfer students where available.
