Equal Opportunity, Title IX & COVID-19

Our hours may have changed…

Sacramento State is closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19). In light of current events, all Office for Equal Opportunity staff is working remotely. We are available by phone at (916) 278-5770, via email (equalopportunity@csus.edu), or request a video conference over Zoom, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Confidential Advocate is also working remotely but continues to be available to the campus community by phone and email at (916) 278-5850 or weave@csus.edu.

… but our commitment remains strong!

Sacramento State remains a welcoming and inclusive community regardless of where the campus community is physically located, and does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or retaliation. We recognize that many members of our campus community are currently experiencing pain and trauma caused by racism and bias, as well as the ongoing stress of the pandemic.

Students, faculty, and staff who feel they are being treated unfairly should continue to contact the Office of Equal Opportunity by emailing equalopportunity@csus.edu or the Vice President of Inclusive Excellence at diversity@csus.edu. The University also provides counseling services for students through Student Health and Counseling Services.
