Gerontology
Gerontology is a dynamic and growing field focused on understanding the aging process and improving quality of life for older adults and their families. It offers diverse career opportunities in healthcare, social services, financial management, research, policy, and more.
The Gerontology major and minors are designed to fit your life circumstances and learning preferences. All required courses are offered online, and elective courses are available both online and in person. There are several generous scholarships for Gerontology majors and minors.
We value the experience many students bring with them to our program. Relevant paid or unpaid experience may count towards the major or minor through Credit for Prior Learning.
