stressor and/or crisis-provoking events
affecting the family; be familiar with the ABCX
model of stress; be acquainted with the nature
and extent of family violence; be familiar with
divorce rates and consequences in other
countries as well as in the US.; be able to
distinguish different types of marriage
dissolution
- Reflect upon your experience: Have you
personally known anyone who has suffered from
family violence? How did it happen and what
actions were taken? What of divorce?
- Observe family troubles on and off campus.
