Graduation Application Instructions

You have to apply to graduate up to a year prior to your expected term of graduation. Note the application will go through multiple reviews before tentative approval is given. Please see instructions below.

Graduation Application Instructions

Internship Information (EEE 195)

You may enroll in the 195 Internship if you are employed part-time in the EEE field with an approved employer.

You will need to submit the Internship Application, Student Learning Agreement, and the current offer letter or extension letter from your employer. In lieu of an offer letter, we can accept a memo (on company letterhead). Either document needs to include employment range (which should at least coincide with the semester start/end dates), # of hours per week, pay rate, and description of job duties performed.

NOTE: Due to new University mandated guidelines for site agreements, new employers must be approved before you can be enrolled. This process will take up to 5-7 weeks to complete. Please contact the department before completing the paperwork if you're not sure if the employer has a site agreement in place.

Important: Remember to submit the Internship Evaluation Reports before finals week.

Co-op Information (EEE 195A)

If you are interested in the Co-op, please send an email to ecs-coop@csus.edu for instructions.

Undergraduate Certificate Programs

Certain combinations of courses give students a deeper understanding of specialized areas in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Completion of any of the following course lists entitles the student to receive a certificate indicating that they concentrated their elective study in a particular area. The EEE Department will try to offer on a regular basis all courses required for certificates, but course cancellations and scheduling conflicts do sometimes occur causing difficulty in completing their desired course study. In such situations, students may need to forgo completion of their certificate. Certificates must be requested directly from the EEE Department via the application form and may be subjected to processing fees. Certificates shall be sent as a PDF attachment via email after the end of the semester of application.

Applications need to be submitted at least a month prior to graduation to allow time for processing.

NOTE: Applications cannot be processed after graduation. Once the degree has been awarded the record is sealed and we cannot award a certificate retroactively.

Certificate in Electric Power Systems and Engineering
