Update on the 2020 Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week at Sacramento State

The Graduate Student Advisory Council and the Office of Graduate Studies have made the difficult decision to cancel the activities scheduled for April 6-10, 2020. Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week was started in 1993 by the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students as a way to support and appreciate graduate and professional students. The week seeks to emphasize the contributions, impact, and value of graduate and professional students on campuses throughout the United States. We appreciate all of the supporters and work that has gone into planning the appreciation week, but as Sacramento State leaders continue to work with health experts, public officials, and the California State University to gather and share the most current information about the COVID-19, we must adhere to the best health and safety practices.

We look forward to hosting the Graduate and Professional Student Week events next April 2021.
