Students transferring from a California community college should use assist.org to determine course equivalencies that satisfy Sacramento State Psychology prerequisite requirements.

Four-Year Institutions and Out-of-State Colleges/Universities

Students transferring coursework from a four-year or out-of-state institution must schedule an appointment with the Department Chair (Dr. Furtak) via psychology@csus.edu. Students are required to provide the course syllabus and/or the following details at the time of the meeting:

  1. Course Code
  2. Course Title
  3. Semester/term Completed
  4. Grade Earned
  5. Indication of whether the course is designated as upper-division or lower-division.
