Academic Advising is here as a resource for you!

The Academic Advising Center (AAC) offers General Education (GE) and Graduation Requirement (GR) advising to all undergrad students. We educate, inform and advise towards a timely graduation.

Undergrads in EOP, Honors, Liberal Studies, MEP, Athlete, Black Honors College, and those who have applied to graduate will be served by their respective advisors, not within our center. We look forward to connecting!

Bikes, e-scooters, and skateboards: Be Safe, Be Seen

ChatGPT: Free accounts for Sac State students

So long, Magic 8 ball 🎱 – ChatGPT is the new flex for asking questions and getting answers for projects, research, and more! All students have access to a free Sac State ChatGPT Edu account, and it’s easy to join. Ways to join:

💻 Click the “ChatGPT” link in your Student Center.

Plus, the CSU ChatGPT license offers advanced features over OpenAI's current free version you may be using. 👍🏼

Find your community: Join a SHCWS counseling group at The WELL

Connect with your peers and find support by joining a counseling group at Student Health, Counseling, and Wellness Services (SHCWS). Topics covered: managing stress and grief, exploring masculinity, improving relationships, empowering women, mindfulness through art, and more. Groups are kept small to create a confidential space for you to learn and grow together. Free Access to Adobe Creative Cloud 

Create and edit media freely! The Peer & Academic Resource Center (PARC) provides academic support to all Sac State students, including:

  • Tutoring: Drop-in and appointment-based in-person or Zoom options
  • Supplemental Instruction: Enroll and learn how to navigate challenging general education courses and earn one unit of credit!
  • Study Sessions hosted twice weekly 📚
  • Workshops

Preparing for graduate school can be a laborious process, but you do not need to do it alone. Sacramento State offers a variety of resources that are available to both current students and alumni that can help you as you prepare your application for graduate school, such as our Request for Information form.

Student Health, Counseling, and Wellness: FREE health care services

Sac State’s Student Health, Counseling, and Wellness Services (SHCWS) supports your well-being with primary and urgent care, counseling, pharmacy, nutrition, and wellness programs. All services are easy to access on campus at The WELL.
