About Our Office
Procurement & Contract Services supports the campus community by facilitating the procurement of goods and services and the review, negotiation, and execution of agreements on behalf of California State University, Sacramento.
Our office works collaboratively with campus departments, suppliers, and external partners to ensure compliance with University policies, applicable laws, and systemwide requirements while supporting both operational and strategic initiatives.
Authority & Responsibility
Procurement & Contract Services is the designated office authorized to review, approve, and execute agreements that bind the University.
Only individuals with formally delegated authority through Procurement & Contract Services are authorized to act on behalf of the University. This delegation of authority is established in accordance with California State University policy and applicable state law.
All agreements with external parties must be reviewed and processed through Procurement & Contract Services. Any agreement signed without proper delegated authority will not be recognized by the University and will be considered invalid and unenforceable.
What to Expect
Requests are processed based on complexity, required approvals, and queue order.
Processing timelines may vary depending on volume, coordination requirements, and systemwide initiatives.
