The Sacramento State Psychology Department's Mission is to educate, research, and practice in the field of Psychology with dedication and enthusiasm. We facilitate students’ intellectual and personal growth. We prepare students for graduate studies, the workforce, managing citizenship responsibilities and life demands. We advance the many areas of our discipline through active and creative scholarship. We serve diverse communities through meaningful collaborations with people and organizations. Through teaching, scholarship, and service we promote human equity, health and well-being, effective functioning, and respect for diversity.

Request a PSYC 9 Course Substitution Review

STEP 1: Review the courses in PSYC 9: Approved/Not Approved Course List to determine if the course you have taken has already been reviewed.

STEP 2: If the course is on the Approved list, complete the PSYC 9 Verification Form.

  • If the course is on the Courses Not Approved list, you must take PSYC 9 at Sac State or a course from the approved list.

STEP 3: If the course is not on either list, please complete the PSYC 9 Course Review Form.
