About School of Social Work
Program Overview
The School of Social Work (SSW) strives to prepare ethical and competent social workers who can both lead and serve our richly diverse populations in the development and delivery of services that contribute to human well-being and social justice.
Mission Statement:
The MSW Program prepares professional social workers for specialized practice (children and families, behavioral health, and health, disability, and aging), training them to serve diverse populations through hands-on practicum experiences and the development of research and advocacy. Located in the state capital, and in collaboration with our valued community partners, we support students in promoting human well-being and social justice through an anti-oppressive lens.
