About Remote Work Resources for Faculty & Staff
Faculty & Staff Resources
If you’re teaching or working remotely (off-campus) either occasionally or regularly, here are a variety of University-supported resources and tools to support secure access and remote collaboration with campus resources and your students/colleagues.
Are you ready to work remotely?
- You should be able to do the following remotely from a University-managed or personal device:
- Authenticate via Duo from off-campus
- Use Global Protect VPN for a secure connection
- Access Microsoft 365
- Access Zoom for web conferencing
- Access My Sac State
- Access any critical software/tools necessary for your work
- Bookmark the Campus Directory to look up colleagues
- Review the Remote-Ready Checklist and Personal Device Security Guidelines.
- Ask for help if you need it - the IRT Service Desk Team is working virtually, but processing service tickets and phone calls during open hours.
